Berlin, March 2020. SuitePad’s sales team has been strengthened with the arrival of a new Vice President Business Development, Rob Zijl. Rob is a renowned expert in the hospitality industry and an experienced sales professional. Before joining SuitePad, Rob worked at SALTO Systems—a manufacturer of electronic access control solutions—where he was the Vice President of Hospitality Access Solutions International.

He and his team will be mainly focusing on hotel chains in Europe, Asia, and the USA. Filling this post ensures that the Global Sales department structure has been optimized, strengthening SuitePad’s position as a market leader for in-room tablets worldwide.

After studying a BA in International Business Management at the HZ University of Applied Science, Rob began a career as an International Area Sales Manager at TESA-ASSA ABLOY in Spain in 1994. This role was followed by positions as a Key Account Manager at Onity, as a Sales and Marketing Director EMEA at Kaba, and as a Sales Director at Amadeus Systems in Vienna. In 2013, Rob moved to SALTO Systems in Oiartzun, Spain—first as a Sales Director for Hospitality EMEA and then most recently as the Vice President for Hospitality Access Solutions.
